Sustainable & Biodegradable Lyocell

As a member of the cellulose family, lyocell ranks the second position just under viscose in terms of consumption, while it gains a much superior performance in sustainable development and fiber performance. Lyocell is estimated to get a huge potential market in the future. We apply Sateri™ Lyocell, which is made from wood pulp sourced from certified and sustainable plantations.

In its closed-loop production process, Sateri™ Lyocell utilizes an organic solvent (quite different from viscose) and over 99.7% can be recovered and recycled. It’s a natural and biodegradable fiber.

Drape And Smooth To The Touch

857 owns a wider and more crisp twill style, compared to normal 3/1 Z twill denim.

As known, wider twill, easier to get a stronger texture and rougher hand feel. But it’s not the case.

Instead, thanks to the high uniformity and consistency of lyocell, 857 has a smooth and comfortable touch.

Bold and Stylish Twill Line

Compared to normal 3/1 RHT or LHT, 857 owns a wider twill surface, leading to a rougher and more vintage style.

A wider twill surface is probably not suitable for slim fit or skinny fit, but it’s ideal for loose pants like wide-leg jeans, or baggy jeans.

Smaller Shrinkage

857 owns very small shrinkage.

Length 3-4%, and width 3-5%.

Weft shrinkage is much less than normal fabric shrinkage.

Less fabric usage, on the other hand, means less fabric cost and higher production.
